MIRI: Sarawak Oil Palms Berhad (SOPB) has provided 100 bottles of 2kg Merris Blended Oil for the upcoming Subscribers’ and Readers’ Benefits programme, to be held during Miri Trade Fair 18 (Mitraf 18) from Aug 30 till Sept 2 at Bintang Megamall here.

The handing-over ceremony was held yesterday at its head office along Jalan Bendahara, which saw SPOB senior building manager Frankie Choo present a bottle of the cooking oil – symbolising the sponsorship – to Mitraf 18 organising chairperson Jocelin Kuan, witnessed by SPOB senior managers Jack Jong and Paul Ch’ng.

Also present were See Hua Marketing Sdn Bhd Miri branch circulation executives Peter Wong and Melvin Ng.

The Subscribers’ and Readers’ Benefits programme will be held starting 11am throughout the four-day Mitraf 18.

Apart from bottles of Merris Blended Oil, other gifts include Indocafe coffee products and complimentary game vouchers sponsored by Megalanes Bowling Centre at Bintang Megamall.

In order to receive these gifts, subscribers of The Borneo Post, Utusan Borneo and See Hua Daily News just need to show their latest three-month subscription receipts (from June to August 2018) or yearly subscription receipt.

Merris cooking oil is produced locally in SOPB’s refinery with freshly harvested 100 per cent Sarawak-grown oil palm.

The ISO 22000-certified cooking oil is cholesterol free, trans fat free, high in vitamin E, and has a high frying stability.
